Wage Agreements

The agreement will enter into force from January 1, 2016 until December 1, 2018. It contains significant additions to the increases that were negotiated last year. The agreement is based on a framework agreement between labour market companies of 27 October 2015 and the Pension Rights Protocol of 5 May 2011 and aims to ensure equal wage developments on the basis of a common wage policy and pension rights compensation. The contract and salary schedules can be found below. At the centre of the plans of the HGV companies is the collapse of a decades-old distinction between mechanical and electrical workers and contractors. The new proposals – the Building Engineering Services National Agreement (BESNA) set a set of wages and conditions for mechanical and electrical workers to replace the countless separate competing agreements that are currently in place. The Act is now enshrined in the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 p.179, which provides that collective agreements are definitively considered non-binding in the United Kingdom. This presumption can be rebutted if the agreement is written and includes an express provision that it should be legally enforceable. Vr enters into collective agreements with the Association of Icelandic Enterprises (Samt-k atvinnul-fsins, SA) and the Icelandic Trade Association (FA, formerly f.S.), as well as with several companies outside these organisations. The company has been facing serious work problems over the past year and has been working on a compensation contract ever since. In Sweden, about 90% of employees are subject to collective agreements and 83% in the private sector (2017).

[5] [6] Collective agreements generally contain minimum wage provisions. Sweden does not have legislation on minimum wages or legislation extending collective agreements to disorganised employers. Unseated employers can sign replacement agreements directly with unions, but many do not. The Swedish model of self-regulation applies only to jobs and workers covered by collective agreements. [7] A new collective agreement between VR and SA was signed on May 29, 2015. The duration of the agreement is until the end of 2018. The agreement was adopted by 73.9% of the votes cast in the vote of the deputies held from 10 to 22 June 2015.

2022 International Temperate Reefs Symposium

The International Temperate Reefs Symposium will be held in Australia’s southern most state, Tasmania. The Symposium will be held in Tasmania’s capital, Hobart, from Monday 10th to Thursday 13th January 2022.

The ITRS is the premier conference for marine scientists with a focus on temperate hard-bottom habitats. The scope is broad and captures natural rocky reefs, man-made structures, and biogenic surfaces. Ecology is a key focus, but the meeting also caters for other scientific disciplines relevant to temperate reef biology including biogeochemistry, genetics, oceanography, remote sensing, biogeography and management, not to mention the vast array of interdisciplinary links.
